Engagement path

This page describes how a typical fixed-fee review runs. Variants for flaky triage or quality memos compress or skip steps as noted in your quote letter.

  1. Scope call (45 minutes)

You share repository size, release pressure, and existing test tooling. We confirm fit and send a written estimate within three business days.

  2. Kickoff & access

NDA if needed, read-only VCS access, CI dashboard guest seat, and naming your engineering counterpart for daily questions.

  3. Architecture sketch

We diagram deployables, data flows, and where tests currently sit—unit, contract, end-to-end—without boiling the ocean.

  4. Deep dive weeks

Static review, sampled test execution, failure archaeology in build history, and short interviews with dev and QA leads.

  5. Draft findings

You receive a draft report for factual corrections only—no scope creep into new features.

  6. Handover

Final PDF, repository pull requests for sample fixes, and a recorded readout. Clarification window opens for fourteen days.
