• Correspondence: information you send by email or phone.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and page views if you accept analytics cookies (see cookies).
• Client engagements: billing contacts, access credentials (stored securely and deleted per contract).

Purposes and legal bases

We process data to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, deliver consulting services, issue invoices, and improve the Site. Grounds include contract performance, legitimate interests in operating our business, and consent where required (e.g. optional analytics).

Retention

• Contact form submissions: up to 24 months unless an engagement begins.
• Client project records: duration of contract plus up to 7 years for tax and legal purposes.
• Analytics: aggregated after 14 months or sooner if you reject cookies.

Sharing

We use processors for email hosting and (if accepted) analytics. We do not sell personal data. We may disclose information if required by South African law or to protect our rights.

International transfers

Our email and analytics providers may process data outside South Africa. Where transfers occur, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or provider certifications, and we minimise fields transferred.

Security

We apply access controls, encrypted transport (HTTPS), and least-privilege access to client repositories during engagements.

Your rights

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection to certain processing, and lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa). Children

The Site is directed at business users and is not intended for children under 18.
